On its surface, Octopede is a riff on the 70s arcade classic Snake. Cast in the role of a “rogue computer worm,” you race through a neon simulation of a computer interface, collecting data packets as you dive your way down to the system’s core. Every datum you collect adds another segment to your avatar’s tail, creating a clear visual throughline linking Octopede to its spiritual predecessors.
