…I downloaded Octopede last night on a whim, I had 120 ms points to spend and I picked up this little gem with change left over. You play Octopede as a hacker, sending your worm (not technically a snake but i’l let this slide) into a rival computer to eat up little bits of data. The computer says NO (naturally) and sends an veritable army of anti-virus software to halt your destructive process.
And it actually improves upon the premise. Firewalls pop up sporadically, changing the layout of the maze on the fly, your worm gets an arsenal of bombs, missiles and traps to fight back against the defending force, you can double back on yourself for those tight manoeuvres. And get this. You can go diagonally…
Thanks to dark_horse_17 for such a nice review. Hope you enjoyed yourself!
